Stipa is an ornamental perennial grass native to Argentina and Mexico. Its leaves, like thin long hairs that change color from green to golden-brown, add interest and movement to the garden as the seasons follow each other. It has low water requirements, which makes it an ideal choice for a beautiful garden that suffers from summer heat and is often used in urban gardens with little water and care.
