Product description
Ferraduel is an almond variety of French origin. Due to its late foliage, Ferraduel is not affected by late spring frosts (resistance is higher than Texas & Nonpareil). As a result, Ferraduel completes fruit development later than other varieties. The tree's resistance to Monilia disease is high but sensitive to branch necrosis.
Ferraduel cannot pollinate itself, so additional pollinators must be used. Ferragnes can be used as pollinators. For orchards with French varieties Ferraduel is generally used as a pollinator. There are cases of self-pollination, so it is good to include a second pollinating variety.
