Rebecca's Gold Pawpaw is a Northern California heirloom variety with medium-sized, richly aromatic, late-ripening fruit. Introduced in the 1970s.
Flavors of mango, melon, banana, raspberry, and pineapple come from this creamy fruit. Like many fruits, if you don't know what you're doing and let it bruise or pick it underripe, it won't taste very good.
