Durello is a variety of medium vigor, with an upright posture and dense foliage, with good productivity but slow fruiting. Durello has fruits of medium-small size (average weight 135 g), with a flattened spherical shape, a little irregular, asymmetric. The stem is very short (about 5 - 6 mm) and robust, the skin is thick, smooth, yellow or green, with a faded carmine red blush, without scurf. The pulp is ivory white, crisp, slightly sugary and acidic, not very aromatic. The fruits are very resistant to handling and very long-lasting, especially suitable for cooking.
