Early blueberry variety (Southern) one week before Star.
Develops a well-branched upright form with raised branches, and reaches a height of 1.3 to 1.5 meters.
Produces medium-sized berries (1.8 g–2.5 g), retain a light blue waxy coating after harvest and have a small, dry scar on the stem. They are extremely sweet when fully ripe and can be harvested in three stages.
Good for mechanical harvesting due to loose fruit clusters and upright branches.
Resistant to Phytophthora cinnamomic , Botryosphaeria corticis and Botryosphaeria dothidea when grown in greenhouses.
Requires at least 200 hours at temperatures below 7°C to produce suitable crops the following season.
Cold hardiness USDA – zones 6-10; recommended for growing in warm climates.
