Maria Carla is a yellow-fleshed nectarine variety, characterized by rapid growth and rapid fruiting.
The fruits are medium-sized, with a perfectly smooth skin, bright yellow and red in color. The yellow pulp is crisp and aromatic and when fully ripe has reddish veins. The Maria Carla nectarine is a self-fertile variety. It is widely used for the preparation of sweets and compotes.
