Product description

Peach Blood. A variety different from Vigna that we also have in rooted potted plants from abroad.

Red fruit inside similar to blood. So he named it and it was discovered in 1500 by Mattioli. Of very ancient origin, probably beginning in French territory, it is now widespread throughout Italy, especially in the plains and mountain valleys.
Unique thanks to the intense red color of the pulp from which its name comes. This exciting color note found inside contrasts with a slightly pigmented, reddish skin covered in grayish fluff.
For this reason, once we peel the Sanguinella it intrigues us even more and then all we have to do is taste it and enjoy it all (perhaps with a couple of napkins handy).

Synonyms: in Umbria and Marche "Wine peach" or "Carrot peach" or "Blood peach"
