Alpengold® is a new Raspberry primocane. Produces large, golden, firm berries on stalkless canes. Juicy, excellent flavor. Delicious when eaten fresh from the bush or in sweet desserts, jams and sauces. Ideal for pots on the porch and small spaces.
Raspberry growing tips:
Thrives in moisture-retaining, fertile, slightly acidic soils that are well drained. Prefer planting in sunny, sheltered locations, although they tolerate partial shade. Regular pruning will result in healthier, higher quality plants. All varieties are self-fertile and insect-pollinated.
