Nyomis Delicious is a named variety of Asimina triloba, originating in Kentucky. Nurseryman Cliff England, who discovered this Mountain Banana variety, met an elderly woman from Berea, Kentucky (USA), named Nyomi, who had this beloved tree growing in her garden and subsequently introduced it to the nursery trade. This variety shows good disease resistance and is a vigorous, strong and fast-growing plant. The variety 'NYOMI'S DELICIOUS' is self-fertile.
