Product description
The Manzanillo is a unique, mid-late harvest Mango.
Originally known as the "Manzanillo-Nunez", this mango originates from Manzanillo, Colima State, Mexico, where it was first observed in 1972. It was later introduced to both Florida and Hawaii, where it has become more common. It is believed to be a seedling of the Kent variety, and the shape and color are similar.
The fruits are round, medium to large in size, and turn a beautiful red-pink color when ripe. The flesh is fiberless, with a mild flavor and a small monoembryonic seed.
The trees are of medium vigor and have upright growth.
This mango is round in shape and has green and reddish hues. Its medium-large size, between 400g and 800g, hides a golden yellow pulp, with a sweet taste and minimal presence of fiber. Between August and September is the period in which you can harvest.
