Named after the gardener who first created it, James Logan's creation is a cross between raspberry and blackberry. It produces berries that are slightly longer than a blackberry, with a stronger and more sour taste. Loganberry plants are more disease and frost resistant than many other berry hybrids and usually produce fruit in August and September. Loganberries are undemanding and easy to grow and continue to bear fruit for around 15 years, making them extremely good value. You can also eat them fresh from the bush!
