Product description
It is a hybrid between a raspberry and a blackberry, perhaps the best and easiest of the hybrid berries, although it is not suitable for the coldest regions. Tayberries are very vigorous and high yielding. They fruit on 2nd year wood, so should ideally be grown like summer raspberries, on wire supports - but can also be mounted on a wall. The juicy, fragrant, deep purple fruit looks and tastes rather like a berry, but is larger and sweeter. Rich in vitamins, fiber and antioxidants. Harvest as they ripen, over several weeks. A good choice if you only have room for one hybrid berry
