The Lungo Del Portogallo fig is a very old Portuguese variety extremely productive.
The fruits are large, ovoid and end in a long thin neck.
The skin is brownish-purple in color, becoming almost black on ripening with longitudinal fissures,
revealing the whiteness of the inner membrane.
The flesh is light pink in color, soft, very tasty and full of honey.
