Very old variety of apple tree probably originating from Brittany, France. Vibrant variety with good scab resistance.
Its fruit is of medium-large size, slightly flattened, with a golden yellow color. Its flesh is white-yellow, quite crunchy, juicy, moderately sweet, aromatic, with a raspberry aftertaste. The Drapo Dorato apple is also great for cooking.
Partially self-fertile apple variety, when combined with other apple varieties, increases productivity.
It is also an excellent pollinator for many apple varieties.
Ripening: End of September.
