Variety eleagnus umbellata in pot 3 years old plant.
shrub, deciduous, producing edible red fruits when overripe or in jam. Sweet and spicy gummy fruits are harvested in autumn. In May-June its fragrant flowering is dark and nectar-bearing. Hardy to -25°C, this shrub is ideal in a country and/or gourmet hedge. More varieties such as a combination with the Pointilla variety allow more fruits to be harvested.
