Its fruit is large in size and spherical in shape. The bark is yellow-orange in color with a red tinge on the part exposed to the sun. The flesh is rather pitted, orange, firm, juicy, sweet and very good tasting. It ripens during the second ten days of June and is suitable for fresh consumption and canning. As a tree, it is moderately vigorous, with a semi-branched vegetation, early flowering and very productive. It begins to bear fruit early and its fruits are amenable to transportation. It is considered a fine quality variety and the flesh is susceptible to the virus. It comes from the Asini region of the prefecture of Argolis and is widely cultivated mainly in the prefectures of Argolis and Corinthia.
