Product description
White Fingerlime (Microcitrus australasica) is one of the most special citrus fruits from Australia.
It is also called Caviar Lime, or vegetable caviar.
PLANT
- Characteristics of the tree: The plant is usually very bulbous and grows very wide.
Thorns are many, it is impenetrable.
-Leaves: very small leaves, round, sometimes heart-shaped.
FRUIT
- Taste: Excellent.
The typical lime aroma is mixed with a special coconut aroma.
-Colour: White to slightly yellow.
MATURITY PERIOD ESS
It begins to ripen from September to the end of November. (Depends on the climate)
The plants usually bloom in the Spring. However, we can find flowers at other times of the year.
HOW TO USE IT
White Fingerlime is amazing with raw fish. Excellent if added to tartar, meat or even vegetables.
By pressing it we can see these typical little vesicles, that's why it's called "Caviar Lime".
It is used a lot by chefs in fine cuisine.

According to our tests, in the Greenhouse, or in a covered area, it can withstand a temperature of -8°C
This variety should be preserved like a normal lemon.
