It originates from Saint Mauritius and is alternatively called Citrus hystrix or Mauritius papeda. HEIGHT: from 2 to 11 meters. ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: not resistant to cold, but very resistant to fungal diseases. Ideal for home in the garden or Pot. USE: in Asian cuisine in soups or rice. It also goes well with fish, lamb, pork and chicken. Kaffir lime leaves can also be used in alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
