Its fruit is large in size and pear-shaped-oblong in shape. The bark is thin, smooth, with a light yellow color and with a black-red hue mainly in the part that faces the sun. It is considered very sensitive to chlorosis and therefore it is avoided to be cultivated in soils with a higher content of active calcium.
