The Debreceni Botermo sour cherry is a variety selected for commercial orchards. This variety is very productive and can be harvested by machine. The fruits are large, up to 7 grams each. Red shiny skin on the outside, shiny flesh and red juice on the inside. They have a sour taste, described as delicious. They ripen in early July. A big advantage is the possibility of mechanical harvesting. Debreceni Botermo is a self-fertile Cherry. The presence of other varieties in the neighborhood is indicated to guarantee a high yield. The Kantorjanosi variety favors it. And Debreceni Botermo itself is a very good pollinator for others. Variety from Hungary.
