Evergreen aromatic plant, of low growth, with a final height of up to 80 cm and lanceolate, silver-grey leaves.
It blooms from May to November, with purple-blue flowers, with a special aroma.
It is used in pharmacology and horticulture as a plant suitable for rock gardens or low borders and flowering islands. It is resistant to drought, in calcareous soils and is suitable for planting in coastal areas. It needs regular watering in the summer months, balanced fertilizer every 30 days and prefers sunny positions for its installation.
Its dried flowers are used as an aromatic and insect repellent in wardrobes. With proper pruning, it forms into a small sapling for decorative purposes.
