Product description
3-year-old plants in a Φ26 pot.
The fruit of Feijoa sellowiana 'Triumph' is medium in size, with rough skin and a rounded shape. The pulp is slightly grated, juicy and soft and has a mild aromatic taste. The fruit ripens in early winter and is accompanied by beautiful red flowers that bloom from late spring to mid summer. Feijoa sellowiana 'Triumph' is suitable for coastal and windy environments and can be used to create attractive hedges. While it is partially self-fertile, it will produce better crops when planted with another variety of feijoa eg Mammoth. Feijoa sellowiana is evergreen and native to the highlands of southern Brazil, eastern Paraguay, Uruguay, northern Argentina and Colombia. Feijoa sellowiana 'Triumph' was developed by Hayward Wright in New Zealand.
