The fruits grow directly on its trunk! It is widely cultivated in South America.
- FRUIT: looks like a grape, small, round, about 3 to 4 centimeters in diameter.Depending on how ripe it is, it turns green, black or dark red while the inside is white. It bears fruit 1 to 2 times a year.
- TASTE: It is particularly tasty and many people use it to make juice.
- ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: ideally grows around 23°C.
- NUTRITIONAL VALUE: antioxidant and anticancer properties. In the past, it was used as an antidote to diarrhea.
