Prunus Salicina 'Omega' produces abundant, medium-sized fruit with iridescent red skin and deep red flesh. Extremely high yield and with an unforgettable taste.
The fruit is freestone, that is, the small stone comes out very easily. Prunus salicina 'Omega' produces white flowers in spring and while it is self-fertile, planting it with Prunus salicina 'Santa Rosa' or Prunus salicina 'Burbank' and 'Elephant Heart' can result in better yields. Additionally, the leaves of Prunus salicina 'Omega' turn yellow in the autumn months. Late variety ripening early September.
