Grafted plants in Arancio Amaro.
ORIGIN
It seems to come from southern Italy, particularly Sicily, where it is actually widely cultivated.
PLANT
- Characteristics of the tree: the plant is moderate in vigor and size, classic in growth, just like a classic lemon.
-Leaves: The leaves are lance-shaped, dark green in color, medium in size.
FRUIT
-Shape: The fruit has a slightly round shape, slightly larger than a classic lemon in size. The skin is also thicker!
-Taste: The skin is so fragrant and thick! The pulp is refreshing in taste, juicy and a little seedy.
-Color: light yellow outside, light yellow inside.
TIME OF MATURITY
Ripening season: Zagara Bianca Femminello lemon is somewhat 4 seasons in flowering. So it actually produces fruit almost every season.
It usually begins to bloom in the spring and then may continue into the summer and fall.
HOW TO USE IT
-In the kitchen: Fruits can be used a lot in the kitchen!
The amazing skin can be used to make delicious Limoncellos, liqueurs, candied peels and to flavor fish and meat!
You can squeeze the juice to make sweet teas, sauces, but also just drink it with water in the morning!
-Decorative: It is a nice decorative variety for its shape, and its beautiful white and fragrant flower!

This variety should be preserved like a normal lemon.
