Jonagold apples have a reddish color that ranges from greenish-yellow to rosy orange, depending on the intensity and temperature at which the apples are grown. The skin is also covered with a red spot and a vertical stripe. Large in size its flesh is crisp, juicy and creamy yellow in colour. The Jonagold apple has a balanced blend of the flavors of its parents, offering the sweet taste found in Jonathan and the aromatic honey like aroma of Golden Delicious. Jonagold apples are available from early autumn.
