Product description

Pink Fingerlime (Microcitrus australasica) is a special Australian variety of high quality.

It grows wild in Queensland, where it lives in the underwood.

It is also called "Caviar lemon" for the aromatic vesicles inside.

ORIGIN

It comes from northeastern Australia

 

PLANT

 

- Tree characteristics: It is a very compact spiny variety. The plant is moderate in vigor, with many branches that grow roundly.
-Leaves: Leaves small, lance-shaped to slightly heart-shaped, dark green.

 

FRUIT

 

-Shape: The wrist looks a lot like a finger, hence its name.

-Taste: It tastes so special. You can detect a lime flavor, with a typical aftertaste of pepper.

-Color: Pink to dark purple outside.

TIME OF MATURITY ESS

 

Ripening Season: Pink Fingerlime begins to produce from September to November, depending on climatic conditions.

However, fruit can be found at other times of the year.

It usually begins to bloom in the Spring, but sometimes we can see flowers in the summer and autumn.
HOW TO USE IT

 

-In the kitchen: There are billions of ways to use it in the kitchen.

You can squeeze it out and use these little flavor vesicles to give raw fish or meat a good flavor.

You can also use it with champagne!

 

-Decorative: It is a solid spherical plant.
