French red variety cultivated sporadically throughout Greece. It is a lively, moderately productive variety. Formed into linear Royat or Gyot string. It needs irrigation during its vegetative cycle and prefers soils of medium texture, deep and moderately fertile. It is susceptible to powdery mildew and wood diseases. It ripens in mid-September and gives us high quality wines, with an intense color and remarkable aromatic potential.
