Cultivation tips Terrain: Agila can grow in all kinds of soils and grows well under harsh weather conditions. In extremely dry conditions, we recommend using an irrigation system. Fertilization per hectare: – Nitrogen 9 – 12 Kg – Phosphorus 8 – 12 Kg – Kallio 20 – 24 Kg – Magnesium: 5 – 7 Kg To avoid weeds it is recommended not to use or apply manure in small quantities during soil preparation.
Planting, harvesting and storage: To avoid the production of large tubers, Agila needs close planting distances (75 cm * 25 cm) at a height of 30 – 35 cm and a furrow width of 50 – 60 cm. Due to the rapid growth of the foliage, it needs little handling in terms of weed prevention. The use of fungicides as a preventive measure is recommended. Agila shows moderate dormancy and its post-harvest storage is characterized as excellent in both conventional and organic cultivation. Summary: Agila is a branded variety suitable for cooking that gives high production in different climatic conditions. It can be used for synthetic as well as organic cultivation.
