The NERO ™ black pomegranate is a real jewel, for lovers of this wonderful fruit it is a variety that cannot be missing from the garden. The average fruit size ranges from 150 to 200 g, the blackberry when ripe is sweet and has a woody seed. Contrary to popular belief, it is edible.

In general, it is a sweet and sour variety with strong acidity in its juice and is famous for its decorative value:

1. with the impressive flowering end of May to end of June.

2. It is followed by the formation of an intense purple-black glossy fruit.

3. It keeps the black fruits until the end of January at a time when there are no fresh pomegranates.

Small medium plant size 2-3m.

Self-fertile late variety with great resistance to cold.

It ripens at the end of December, beginning of January.

It originates from Palizzi, Italy by random selection of Professor Sculli.
