Wonderful' is the most famous pomegranate variety worldwide. It comes from Florida, USA. It produces VERY large, flattened, dark purple fruits with a medium-thick carapace, ripening in mid-October. The seeds are red, of medium hardness, with very good quality juice. The trees are vigorous and productive and the variety is hardy and adaptable to various environments, which is why its cultivation is so widespread. "Wonderful" is on the list of recommended pomegranate varieties by the Ministry of Rural Development and Food, according to decision 347943/27-11-2008 (Government Gazette/B/04-12-2008), in the appropriate regions of the country.
